Over the last five years sourcing – and outsourcing in particular – has undergone a resurgence in the Netherlands as the quality and capacity of the supply market has dramatically improved and increased.
Innovative commercial constructs, true risk sharing and contractual commitments to continuous efficiency and effectiveness programmes are facilitating the development of world-class contracts in the Netherlands today.
Having worked with clients in the region since 1995, EquaTerra incorporating Morgan Chambers remains one of the driving forces in helping educate the market and enabling organisations to create business orientated sourcing agreements that deliver sustainable benefits.
New Service Offerings
As more organisations across the region look to source projects, functions and processes from external providers decision makers are having to rethink their project and sourcing management arrangements to ensure that they are fully equipped to meet the challenges they face. EquaTerra incorporating Morgan Chambers has two specialised offerings; Sourcing Management and Project Sourcing, to support these needs.
Sourcing Management
Today 40% of end client organisations in the Dutch market believe their skills in managing their outsourcing suppliers are insufficient. Furthermore, developments in the sourcing arena are resulting in solutions that are increasingly complex; multi-provider, multi-region and multi-process. We have created a dedicated practice providing insight and advice on how to set up demand organisations and governance structures in order to successfully achieve your outsourcing goals.

Project Sourcing
There is an increasing level of focus on the way projects for the development and implementation of Information Systems are organised and contracted. Our Project Sourcing suite of services enables a client to gain transparency and support for their project sourcing approach through:
- analysing current behaviours, knowledge and buying processes;
- reporting on any gaps between capability and best practice; and
- strengthening and repositioning its ability to purchase projects in the most beneficial way.
In 2007 over 200 CFOs, CIOs and VPs participated in EquaTerra incorporating Morgan Chambers’ fifth Service Provider Performance study in the Netherlands. Evaluating in excess of 550 contracts worth approximately 3 billion euros in annual contract value, the 2007 study revealed seven ‘megatrends’ within the Dutch outsourcing market.
