Belgium IT Outsourcing Market Grows by 10 percent
Belgian IT outsourcing market grew by 10 pct year-on-year, while the IT market registered a 1.0 pct increase year-on-year in 2005, a survey of UK IT and business process outsourcing consultant company, Morgan Chambers, showed on March 27, 2006.According to Chambers, 40 of the 300 most sufficient outsourcing contracts, signed in 2005, were carried out by foreign companies, 50 pct of which were Indian firms with service providers expecting to double within the next two to three years from its present 7.0 pct market share.
From Belgium's estimated 1.0 bln euro (1.2 bln) IT outsourcing market, about 100 mln euro ($120.5 mln) worth of outsourcing contracts is expected to be signed in 2006 .
